Join us as the largest environmental film festival in the United States comes to Western North Carolina!

The Western North Carolina Alliance presents the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, on tour in Asheville and Cullowhee during the week leading up to Earth Day!  For nearly a decade, the festival has been touring the country and this year the festival will make its appearance in Western North Carolina on April 18 & 19.  We invite you to join us for this exciting event!

We will be hosting a one-day festival, with an evening performance, featuring a selection of 14 short films, all aimed to inspire our community.  It is a festival by activists and for activists. For thirty years, WNCA has been a building a community to protect and restore the forests and rivers of our home. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival puts our work–and yours–into the broader environmental and social context, and serves to remind us that we’re participants in a global movement for a more wild and scenic world.
