PROGRAM: Join us for Macon/Jackson Green Drinks on March 12th for a presentation on the Forest Management Plan.

Jill Gottesman with The Wilderness Society will discuss the public meetings being held by the U.S. Forest Service on the management plan revision of Nantahala-Pisgah National Forests, and how you can make the most of the last meeting scheduled for March 19 in Franklin.

Sylva Green Drinks II. March 20th

PROGRAM: Join us for Macon/Jackson Green Drinks on March 20th for a presentation on Jackson County’s steep slope ordinances.

Green Drinks II will be meeting at Lulu’s on Main on March 20, Wednesday (from 6-7:30 PM). Join us on the first day of Spring with other conservationists for an informal discussion and update of the Jackson Co. steep slope ordinances, currently being revisited by the Jackson Co. Planning Board. There will be plenty of time for social networking, and as always the general public is welcome.
